Christmas

A few nights before Christmas the kids decided they were going to put on a nativity for the family. The were so serious about it. There were moments that Michael and I found it hard not to laugh. One of my favorite parts was when Libby had a baby doll stuffed up her shirt and they were on their way to Bethlehem. They couldn't find something to stand in for the donkey so Ethan told Libby to gallop. So Libby galloped to Bethlehem with a lumpy doll stuffed under her shirt. But they did a very good job telling the story all in all.

Christmas eve we hung the stockings with care.

Christmas morning came at about 7:00. I made the kids get dressed before coming out because we had to be to the Hobson celebration by 9:15. Grace was excluded from that requirement.

One of the few pictures we actually took. We took about a 1/2 dozen photos at home and then headed over the the Hobson's for breakfast and presents. We came home at one, had a nap and then headed over to my sister's for the Hawks Christmas dinner and gift exchange. We finally got home about nine o'clock at night. During all the time we didn't manage to take even one more photo. We did have fun but I was very glad when it was all done.
