Homeschool Co-op

This is our first year officially homeschooling so we are all learning a lot. I have wanted to have my kids involved with other homeschool families but hadn't had much luck. I finally found a group that meets every Friday and has classes for the kids. Ethan, Libby and I looked at it and decided it would be worth a try. They have three hour-long classes and and hour-long lunch. Not only do they have classes for Ethan but they have classes for Libby as well. As it is a co-op I am also responsible for teaching a class and Grace goes to the provided nursery while I am doing this.

We started in January. On the first day Ethan looked at me and said, "Are we doing this again next semester?" I told him that was up to Libby and he. He replied, "I really want to do this again next semester!" It is so nice when you find something that just works. Here are some horrid pictures of the Valentine's party but they are the only ones I took.

It makes me happy they had a Valentine's party. I'd hate for my kids to miss out on the big holiday events with their friends.

I'm glad you found a way to have group holiday celebrations. Looks like they enjoyed it.
