First Bath
We were starting to wonder if Sam's nasty little umbilical cord stump was ever going to fall off so we could give him a full bath. I was talking on the phone to my mother with both babies on my lap. I looked down just in time to see Grace pulling Sam's stump off. I was grossed out, Grace was confused, and Sam didn't even notice. When I told my mom what had just happened she laughed. The good news is that on July 29th Sam finally had his first bath.

What a sweet baby! Nora Kate's umbilical cord was gross too. . . and it stunk soo bad. I remember not being able to bathe her for a while as well. Gross. :)
LOL!!! Yay for bath time, and hey, yay for big sisters, right? ;) Count me in the grossed-out camp, too, LOL... Nephi's stayed on for a while, hanging by this tiny connection, (probably because we were being so VERY ginger with it), so at his 2-week appointment (or somewhere around there), the pediatrician just flipped it up and it flew right off, landing a few inches away on the exam paper. I was horrified, but Nephi was fine, LOL...
And such cute pictures!!! :) Little Sam really is looking bigger already! :)
