Now, I don't think crafty things are bad or inherently evil; I would just rather be bitten by red ants - repeatedly - than make cards. My kids wanted to make homemade valentines. If it had been left up to me I would have had them cut out paper hearts, glue a treat to them, and write their names. Enter my sister. Heidi is the opposite of me. She is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for goodness sake. She couldn't let her nieces and nephew hand out inferior valentines. So she came over and gave 2 1/2 hours of her life to valentines. The kids cut and glued and accessorized to their hearts' content. Even Grace made her own to pass out. I just stayed out of the way and made dinner for everyone. I didn't have to cut or paste a thing.
I made the kids get their picture taken before we went to our co-op valentines party. The one photo I manage to get with all the kids looking at the camera Ethan is sticking out his lower lip so this one wins the contest. I'm not sure what Grace is plotting. Probably world domination. That's her way.

WICKED cute those kids are! I hope Gracie & Sam haven't forgotten me. I need to see them soon!!!
Love you guys!
Kate
Sam looks SO much like Michael did.
I LOVE making cards but what I can't stand is hauling everything out and then putting it all way in an orderly fashion.
I wish I could wiggle my nose like Samantha on Bewitched.
LOL!!! Love the photo commentary... :)
And those Valentines are adorable! :)
We got some Valentines made for grandparents, but they're still on our table. Still. It's been two weeks since they should've been in the mail, but I'm not going to write generic stuff on them, LOL - I'm insisting that Kiddo narrate what he'd like to say to each grandparent. We got one done. Maybe the rest will be done by like, September. "Happy Labor Day, Grandma!" It'll be such a glorious SURPRISE at that point, LOL...
I just want my table back. We were doing so well...
Glitter. The herpes of art supplies....you get a little on you and it's there forever. And then the sun comes out, FLAREUP!! :-)
