"Why you here Mama?"

Katie told me a story while I was at work:

She was feeding the kids lunch, and Ethan asked, "Why you here Mama?" After thinking deeply for a few moments, she replied, "To do as much good as I can." "Yeah," Ethan agreed. "And to get me grapes."

How did we ever get such wisdom and truth into this little man? He's gifted. That's the only explanation. :)

Ethan's (Early) Birthday Train Ride

Well, we took Ethan on the train for his birthday yesterday. Yes, we know his birthday isn't for another month, but Andy and Georgette said when they went it was CRAZY busy. So we called ahead to find the LEAST busy time. They said their November rides. The rest is history. See the video HERE.

I finally made it into the computer age

Well, here goes. I have started this post in hopes of creating a place where people can see pictures of the kids and find out how we are doing. Didn't we used to actually do this by visiting? Ah, the joys of computers. Now I don't even have to talk to anyone.

We've been busy around here. Michael is finishing up this semester of college soon. Only about a million more to go. Someday...

We have all been taking turns getting sick the last couple of weeks. I'm about done cleaning up the gross things that come out of my kids. Hopefully we will all be better by Thanksgiving.

We had a fun Halloween. The kids got to go to Papa's work (yes, Michael is called papa and not daddy). Everyone thought they were cute, and of course they were.
They also went to Trunk or Treat at the church. By November 4th, we were throwing candy away when they weren't looking.

A good time was had by all.
