Busy Busy Busy!!

So, evidently it's been over two months since we last posted. Sorry about that. Let's catch up!

Here's another one of Katie's beautiful cakes!
Here is Ethan with his lady friend Savannah when they came to visit from Missourah. (She's intimidated by his charm and good looks :)

Here is yet another one of Katie's lovely cakes. This one was made with butter cream frosting, which Katie and I discovered we don't really care for that much. It tastes too much like butter, and doesn't belong on a cake. It was a hit when I took it to work though. A butter cream connoisseur rolled his eyes back into his head when he ate it, so our fears about it not being made correctly were put to rest. We still don't like it.

We've been slacking

We haven't posted in over a month. Bad, bad us. A week of that we were all down with the black plague flu. That was lots and lots of fun. Then we had Lucinda's wedding. Then Michael had a test in calculus. Then there was easter. Life is just starting to return to normal.
During the next couple of days I am going to try to get us all caught up. So check back often.

But Mom, I didn't do it.

Ethan and Libby were playing outside the other day having a grand old time. Ethan came in and told me he needed a nap so he was taking his stuffed cow and blanket outside. I told him no. He proceeded to plead and beg. I said no. He went and got them and headed towards the door. I looked him straight in the eyeball and said, "If you take those outside you will get a time-out." So he just stood there, mad. All this time Libby is standing outside, looking in at us. I left the room for a minute. When I came back, Libby was toting the blanket outside to the wagon and Ethan was standing inside the door holding out the cow, "Libby come get the cow, too." Sneaky little bugger.

Give Me a Kiss

Libby loves giving everyone kisses. She will just sit there puckered up going "mmmmm" until she get a kiss. It's so cute it totally makes up for the head banging fits.

Peek A Boo

The kids playing in their tent.

Ethan asked if he could make a sheet house. After getting permission he ran to his room. When we went to put him to bed we realized Ethan had opted to ignore the clean folded sheets on the changing table, and instead stripped all the bedding off of his bed to make a sheet house. The fun they had.
