October started warm and stayed warm this year. My garden was loving the extra warm days.
I was harvesting tomatoes and green beans until the end of October. It was the garden that wouldn't stop growing.
My flowers also joined in the jubilee and bloomed, and bloomed and bloomed. Flowers and pumpkins, two of my very favorite things.
Very necessary.
He did a lot of sorting, tossing, cleaning, and organizing.
Half way through the project, it looked so much better.
After two weeks, it was even better. The transformation was nothing short of miraculous. He still has some organizing to do, but it looks amazing, nothing is whipping me in the head, or falling on my feet every time I search for a screw driver. I am very happy.
Sam was also busy. October ended with his first junior high concert. He was one of two basses, and I was impressed. I barely recognized his voice coming from his body. He has learned so much. He has a new choir teacher this year, and she is simply amazing.

And of course, we ended October with Halloween. Here I am before heading into work for a special holiday story time. The toddlers wanted to wear their costumes, so I felt duty bound to dress up as well. (Thank you to my sister-in-law Amy for the birthday gift dress, everyone adored it).
