Thursdays are our long days. We have homeschool co-op from 9:30-2:00. By the time we get home the girls' hair is in tatters, the babies are exhausted and I need a nap. So when a different homeschool group set up a field trip for Thursday afternoon I should have passed but I didn't. It went better than expected if you ignore the girls' hair. First, Ethan and Libby had a lemonade stand to raise the four dollars they each needed. Then Michael got off work and rode the bus out to meet us at the pumpkin patch. I, of course, forgot the camera (the following are from Michael's phone). The babies were only mildly grumpy. The only downside for Libby was that the food stands were closed for school field trips. She had extra money from her stand and needed to spend it.
Needed to.

We started by each choosing a perfect pumpkin. That's me holding a pumpkin with Sam hanging out on my back. I had this hope he would go to sleep. He had other plans.

Then we had to play on the slide.

Sam didn't enjoy the trampoline, so he just sat around being cute.

This is Ethan just...he was trying to...I have no idea, actually. This is Ethan just being a gomer.
Here they all are before we left. Two hours past nap time and still going strong.
