Libby graduated 6th grade this year which means she is now destined for Junior High. She received awards for participating in safety patrol, for maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and for...crud...I forget. Basically if there was an award she received it. She has worked so hard this year and I am amazed at what she has accomplished. She also played her violin, a lot. Between her honor choir and violin she had a billion (give or take) concerts. Her violin teacher this year really pushed the students. Libby didn't like her teacher much at the beginning of the year but grew to appreciate her. I was amazed at how much better Libby played this year than she did last year. I think her teacher really brought out the best in her students.
There she is on the end, holding numerous certificates. Good job,
Libby! Even if I can't quite remember what she accomplished, it was good stuff.
Here is one of the songs her orchestra played at the end of the year concert.
Also, for your viewing pleasure this is a solo she performed last month for her future violin teacher.
She got a little lost in the middle, but she regained her composer and kept going, which is a very necessary skill!
