Ethan was Bad to the Bone on Easter 2008

My brother and his family host an Easter gathering at their house every Saturday before Easter. This year Ethan found an electric motorcycle of theirs with which he found he could terrorize the relatives and neighbors:

This is NOT a Girl - Followup

Well, it appears the post of Xander in a dress and pretty hair may have had SOME influence over his mother getting him a hair cut. Except, instead of an improvement over his previous do, he has a BUZZ with a RAT TAIL. A RAT TAIL I say.

I know, I couldn't believe it either. Of all the grown men I have known that have RAT TAILS, each one of them is a "special spirit," AKA weird. I hope they don't leave it on him for long. Otherwise I'll have to volunteer to take him over night and stage some sort of accident involving an out-of-control pair of kamikaze scissors.

The Libby's Prayer

Up until a few weeks ago, every prayer we asked Libby to say (dinner, lunch, family, personal) was some small variation of "Dear Hebbenwy Fadder, dank you for duh food in the name of Gee-kwighst amen."

The other night as Katie was getting them ready for bed and doing prayers in the living room with Libby sitting on Katie's lap. The evolution of Libby's prayer took a mighty leap to include the following holy and innocent supplication:

"Dear Hebbenwy Fadder,

Thank you for the duh food and the couch and the hutch and Momma's waygs (legs) and Efan's waygs and my waygs...Tank you for my hair and fwip fwops and for my mirror Hey! Efan has my mirror! Give me my mirror! Dear Hebbenwy Fadder tank you for duh food in the name of Gee-kwighst amen."

Tee-hee.

This is NOT a girl

"Please, Mom, cut my hair. If you don't Aunt Katie will continue to dress me up as a girl, and I will have to see a therapist twice a week for the rest of my life. Please, for the love of all that is good, cut my hair."

But I'm not Tired, Part II

Sound asleep, and so comfy.
